Rummy, a popular card game is part of a large group of Draw and Discard games played with sets of playing cards. The main Objective in any Rummy games is to improve one's "HAND" by forming sets of cards and melding them in certain rules. The basic move is to draw a card from the un-dealt deck or from the face up discard pile and discard a card.
An Indian variant of Rummy (Popularly known as 13 card Rummy or Sequence) is mostly played between 2 to 6 players. Each player takes turn to draw and discard one card till the 13 cards are formed into sets. Certain rules apply while the "SETS" are validated.
On each turn, a player Draws either the (face-up) top card of the discard pile, or one card from the stock, and Discards one card from his or her hand onto the discard pile, or shows the hand by closing one card and melding all the other thirteen cards into sets as per the game rules.
